What’s new

Web

Tidy up your categories faster

You can now select multiple categories on the Categories page and delete or archive them all at once. This makes cleanup easier when you’re trying out category templates or refreshing your setup (🔗).

Web

An easier multicurrency workflow

When you add a transaction directly in the Transactions table, its currency now defaults to the currency of the selected account (🔗). You can also filter transactions by currency using the Advanced Filter on the Transactions page, making it easier to find and review transactions across multiple currencies (🔗).

Web

Find and copy IDs faster

You can now find and copy category, tag, and account IDs from the side panel, making them easier to access when working with the Developer API or MCP tools (🔗).

Explore new category setups 🗃️

Ever wonder how other Lunch Money users organize their categories? Now you can take a look!

Our new Category Template Library provides you with setups shared by the community, alongside Lunch Money’s starter sets. Whether you’re setting up your budget for the first time or refreshing your categories, you can copy a complete setup or mix and match categories to make it your own.

Have a setup worth sharing? We’d love to include it. Share your full category setup or just a group of categories that works particularly well. You’ll find submission details in the library.
