Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between buying Lunch Money on my own versus as a group?
With a group plan, one person (or organization) pays upfront for licenses, then shares a discount code so everyone in the group can activate Lunch Money at the bulk rate.
How much will it cost, and how will I get billed?
The current discounted rate for each license is $55, with higher discounts for bulk purchases of 150 or more. You’ll be billed a single annual upfront payment that activates on an agreed-upon date and renews automatically each year unless you cancel. We’ll be in touch before your renewal date so there are no surprises.
How can I make changes to my group’s subscription?
As your group grows, just let us know and we can add new people. Once your plan starts, we can’t refund unused subscriptions.
What happens to unused subscription credits?
Unused subscription credits may roll over to your next renewal term as Rollover Credits, but only if you renew for at least the same number of credits. If you renew for fewer credits, any unused credits expire.
How do people in my group sign up?
Each year, we’ll give you a group discount code that covers a yearly subscription for the number of licenses you’ve purchased. If someone leaves your group, they won’t have access to next year’s code. We monitor how many licenses are in use, so you can request sign-up activity for your group at any time.
Does your price-lock guarantee apply to group plans?
Your plan price and bulk discount stay locked in as long as you keep renewing with us. If someone leaves the group, their default subscription becomes $100/year, and they can switch to one of our currently available pay-what-you-want plans.
When does our subscription term begin?
Your subscription term starts when you purchase your first set of licenses, and your group billing code is valid for one year from that start date. If you’d like to pay in advance but have codes take effect on a later date, email [email protected] and we can arrange that.
