In this issue
Category templates, merch, and more from the community
Jen here! This month's newsletter looks a little different. We usually kick things off with a detailed interview with someone from our community, but this month, we're catching you up on a few things happening around Lunch Money. Don't worry, interviews return next month!
01 · Category templates
A little inspiration for your setup

Ever wonder how other people organize their money?
Our new Category Template Library lets you explore category setups shared by Lunch Money users, alongside our starter sets.
Whether you’re creating your first budget or tweaking your existing categories, you can borrow a complete setup or mix and match categories to suit your life. You’ll also find instructions for importing them into Lunch Money.
Have a setup that works well for you? We’d love for you to share it with the community. Even one useful category group could give someone else a starting point.

02 · Gear shop
We made merch. Budget accordingly.

For years, the only way to get your hands on Lunch Money gear was to find us at a meetup or win a giveaway. Now you can shop for it anytime!
The Lunch Money merch store is open, with the Delightfully Simple T-shirt, a crew long-sleeve tee, a categories sticker sheet, a Toronto sticker sheet, a logo sticker, a magnet and (my personal favourite) the Lunch Money pen, all available to purchase.
If you sport your gear out in the wild, send us a photo. We’d love to share it in a future issue!
03 · Developer newsletter
Introducing Building with Lunch Money
Our developer stories now have a home of their own!
The first issue of Building with Lunch Money, written by our Developer Advocate JP, is out now. It’s packed with API updates, community-built projects, and tips for anyone who likes to tinker with their financial data. If that sounds like you, give it a read and subscribe so you don’t miss the next one.

04 · Testimonials
Kind words from Berlin
We love hearing from our community and seeing how Lunch Money fits into people’s lives. Thomas from Berlin recently shared how it’s making life a little easier for his family as they manage finances across multiple countries and currencies, and it’s such a lovely reminder of why we do what we do!

Over to you
Our community interviews will return next month, and we’d love to feature you!
Got a story to share? Maybe you paid off a loan, started managing your finances with a partner, run a budget across two currencies, or found a money habit that just works. Big or small, hit reply and tell us about it. Your story could help someone else in the community.
Jump into the conversation: Come say hi in our Discord or on r/lunchmoney! Ask questions, share your setup, or just see what everyone’s working on. We’re there too and love hearing from everyone!
As always, thank you for being part of the Lunch Money community!
